Has your life been completely flipped upside down forever?
If so, get the encouragement that you need to start experiencing your grief freely and celebrating the life of your loved one.
I get it. Grief sucks. But luckily, you aren’t alone. Here, just as in life, grief is personal.

This is John.
The one who started all of this.
He had the biggest heart in the whole world and the prettiest green eyes. His voice was a gentle and soothing sound, much like the waves of the ocean that he loved so much. He gave the warmest hugs and would’ve done anything to make you laugh. He was special.
But he died at just fifty-six years old due to sudden cardiac arrest. And my life was completely flipped upside down forever.
I think it’s so important for all of us to talk about those who we’ve lost and to connect with one another through our grief.
It’s not only a way to keep our loved ones alive, but it also reminds us that we’re still alive, too, and that we have all the power we need in order to make beauty out of such tragedy.
Moving forward, not moving on. Feeling grief in every season, both the beautiful and the heart-wrenching. Growing somehow, inevitably, into something new. And hopefully, if we’re lucky, a little bit better, too.

Hello, dear friend!
Whatever brings you, I’m so glad that you’re here.
I want you to know that in a world that places so much harmful stigma on grief, you’ve found a safe haven where you can experience it freely and celebrate the life of your loved one.
Yes, grief can be tragic. But it can also be beautiful, too.
My goal through Grief Personalized is to inspire, share, and connect with others
around the world who are on a journey through grief just as I am.
Above all else, though, my hope is that if you’re to learn anything from this space, it’d be this:
You are loved, you are important, and you are not alone.

"Katherine has played a huge part in my grief support. I looked to the online grief community for support after losing my dad and I didn't know where to turn. While experiencing her own grief, Katherine also provides for other grievers a wealth of support and resources through blog articles, poems, feelings, and thoughts—as well as opportunities for anyone to share and discuss about many grief-related topics. These are always so helpful and are always timely—but most of all, I don't feel alone anymore. I would recommend anyone at any stage of any type of grieving to keep Grief Personalized close by. Thank you so much, Katherine."
